Newly crowned Highland League Cup winners Keith had to settle for a share of the spoils against Banffshire rivals Deveronvale at Kynoch Park on Wednesday night reports Charlie Simpson. 
Both sides were reduced to ten men, and after Kris Duncan had given 'Vale the lead, Cammy Keith's 34th goal of the season, from the penalty spot restored the status quo. 
In a fast flowing game, both sides had chances to score in the first half, with 'Vale perhaps coming closest in the 19th minute, Colin Charlesworth clipping the crossbar. 
The Maroons had Andy Smith red carded six minutes from the break following a tangle with Graeme Rodger out on the touchline in front of the technical areas.  The youngster seemed to be harshly dealt with as the 'Vale man, who was booked for his part, committed the foul, with Smith retaliating.  Once the dust had settled, it was Keith who were awarded the free kick. 
The Banffers edged ahead in the 63rd minute, Murray Kinnaird pulling off a fine save, but the loose ball was pounced on by Kris DUNCAN, only on the park for six minutes, and he rifled into the net from eight yards. 
Two minutes later the 'Vale's numerical advantage was deducted when Kyle Rae received his second yellow card of the game. 
It was all square with 71 minutes played, Darren McConnachie upending Andy Anderson inside the penalty area, receiving a booking for his trouble, and Keith skipper Cammy KEITH made no mistake with the resultant spot kick. 
This was no end of season tussle as the end to end play kept up right to the last peep of the referee's whistle.
